This mission was simply amazing. The combination of various groups from different places including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kampala, Oyam, Kasese, and Luuka gave it so much flavor. We got to minister to the residents of Mukono as well as minister to ourselves and I am sure nobody left that mission ground the way they came.
The mission took place from Monday to Saturday from 19th to 24th November. On the first day, the teams assembled and most of them were tired from the long journeys. The Mombasa team had been on the bus for more than 20 hours. It’s humbling what people will do for the Gospel of Christ. In the afternoon we had lunch a brief training on evangelism. We then continued to preach the gospel for one hour and the ministers came back to rest.
The area was basically sub-urban, unlike the rural areas that we visit.
The activities for the rest of the week were basically door to door evangelism, visit primary and secondary school, teachings and training and revivals. There were many testimonies from the various activities who continue to testify that Jesus is indeed Lord. We reached the less privileged an on top of preaching the gospel, some ministers gave gifts to these families. The Lord has indeed richly blessed them.
I would like to point out that there is a certain grace that the Lord gives when brethren come together in unity. Sometimes in missions when many people from different backgrounds come together to do the work of the Lord, the devil targets their unity. A kingdom divided cannot stand. It is therefore prudent to always keep this mind and always be vigilant. All we need to do is to give no place to the devil!
Overall there was an average of 70 missioners
2270 people were reached with the gospel
184 people received their healing

Glory to God!
