The second week of October, we went for a mission to Kasese district, Ibanda region in the midst of Rwenzori hills near Kilembe Mines. The weather was quite chilly and cold in the evening and early morning, but we bless the Lord because he took us there with a sole purpose which was to propagate his word and since October is a season of harvest, all we needed was to put forth our sickles and receive the yield from the lord.
First and foremost, I want to thank the Lord for allowing us to reach his people in Kasese and for his presence which was abundant in the place. I also want to thank the team of intercessors we had there in Kasese led by Pastor Martin Salano, the intercessory group in Nairobi-Kenya lead by evangelist Samuel Kamure, and above all I want to sincerely thank all the missioners who availed themselves and allowed the Lord to use them as his vessel during this season of harvest. I believe the reward is for sure great. It was evident by the fact that the people of Ibanda were hungry for the word of God, their hearts were receptive to the word we shared with them. Some could connect to their spiritual realities there and then as the deaf could hear and the sick could receive their healings, others delivered from the root of alcoholism and immorality and we bless the Lord for allowing his will to happen through the missioners.
What captured my attention the most was the fact that people were stepping into their callings and gifting’s as some could lay hands on the sick and the sick could receive their healings on the spot and this really challenged most of us in the sense that we might be having gifts and callings but we don’t realize them not until we took a step of faith and then things start happening that we didn’t expect and that’s when we now begin to understand what we are capable of.
Sometimes God wants to use us but not until we are positioned and operating within the correct times and seasons we cannot step into what is ours (Our Kingdom Inheritances), we can never manifest his will in our lives, we can never tap into the blessings associated with our correct timings and season.
Everything that transpired in Kasese left us speechless and we give God all the glory and honor because it was his doing right from the beginning.
Here is the tabulated report for the whole week.

- Challenges Encountered
- Financial problems- we realized that the land in Ibanda is blessed, but the primary challenge was the availability of finances, i.e., the circulation of money is low.
- Poverty stricken livelihoods
- The spirit of alcoholism is so widespread in the area.
- Lack of bibles in most homes visited contributing to a little spiritual growth amongst the believers in the area, as they have no place of feeding the word.
- Unfavorable climate-rain affected most of our programs leading to less time spent in the field propagating the kingdom assignment.
- Sicknesses- most of the homes we visited people could complain of illnesses especially among the children affecting even their studies and performance in school.
- Prayer points/needs
- The Lord to deliver his people from the spirit of alcoholism.
- The Lord to bless his people financial wise to improve their living standards.
- The Lord to restore the seed of the kingdom in his people that they may be baptized in the holy ghost and start manifesting kingdom realities by becoming kingdom witnesses.
- The Lord to restore families and young adults to be able to accomplish their destiny in life.
